Why Do Ghosts Haunt? Justice

ghostoverbed

Some ghosts were a victim of a murder and feel they cannot move on until their attacker has been found and brought to justice.

Why do you think ghosts haunt?

Why Do Ghosts Haunt? Unfinished

seance1

Some ghosts will not rest because of unfinished business.  A task needs to be completely or a fulfilled promise made.

Were you ever brave enough to use a Ouija board and ask a spirit a question?  They might just tell you what the unfinished business is and make you finish it for them – whether you like it or not!

I’d just stay away from the Ouija board all together.  Did you have a strange experience with one?

Why Do Ghosts Haunt? To Help

ghostsurpriseinthedoor

Have you ever had a premonition?  Maybe a ghost of a loved one passed on some information to help you.  The ghost could be foretelling danger or helping you find something you would have overlooked on your own.

Why Do Ghosts Haunt? Reenactment

ghostbrickwall

A residual haunting is a playback attributed to a traumatic event.  The ghost is usually unaware that it’s surroundings and does not interact with the living.  The ghost repeats a routine or life-altering event over and over.  Sometimes the reenactment involves their death.

A residual haunting is usually the most seen or heard type of haunt.  Have you witnessed one?

Why Do Ghosts Haunt? Revenge

haunted_lane_vintage_ghost_photo_1880_postcard-p239764794512158499qibm_400

Some ghosts come back to seek revenge against a wrongdoer.  Maybe they never went away, maybe they just won’t cross over until the living person is punished for the crime.  Punished for something they did to them or worse, something they did to a family member.

Does the “awakening” ghost seek revenge against someone they know?

I don’t think so.  An “awakening” ghost wants to stop someone from renovating a house or building and may do what ever they can to stop them.  The revenge may come if the repairs are finished against the ghosts will.

Do you have a new home remodel to do?

Why Do Ghosts Haunt? Comfort

spiritphotography1

In times of grieving or times of ill fortune, a ghost of a family member or close friend may appear to offer comfort.  In other times of need, they may even give you advice, if you ask.

Have you ever asked a spirit for help?  What happened?

Why Do Ghosts Haunt? Improper Burial

ghostinthewoods

Some spirits remain as ghosts because their bodies have been improperly buried.  Or maybe they weren’t even buried at all and all they seek is a proper burial so they can pass over to the other side.

So if you have a ghost haunting your house, maybe you have bones hidden on your property… what do you think?
